Now in its third year, the Chartered Accountants Student Challenge invites students to solve a real-life business problem facing a not-for-profit organisation. The first stage in this competition is now live at www.studentchallenge.com.au. With a fresh new look that ties in nicely with the new Chartered Accountants brand campaign the new site has been well received by users and CA staff. The website this year also contains Webinars – video content for students and the ability to chat live with experts in the industry.

Wanted has been awarded the artstoria tender from the Australia Council and to say we’re excited about this project would be a massive understatement. It’s a fantastic brief with some wonderful opportunities to create some beautiful, sustainable digital content delivered in some innovative ways. We can’t wait to start.
At its core, the Australia Council’s artstoria will be a national storytelling campaign inviting all Australians to think about the value of our arts – ultimately increasing general appreciation for the arts in Australia.

The Chartered Accountants Student Challenge is about to embark on its third year and Wanted is delighted to be awarded the design and development for the 2010 website. The Challenge provides students the opportunity to solve a real-life business problem facing a not-for-profit organisation and are aimed university students completing a business or commerce degree. We have some great ideas on how we’ll build on the success of this fantastic project and look forward to sharing our progress.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) is the professional body representing Chartered Accountants in Australia. The ICAA approached Wanted Digital to design and develop an innovative online calendar system for presenting and publicising their events to members and students. The calendar tool allows embedded YouTube videos and Twitter feeds, the option for external parties to submit events and overall provides a slick and innovative way of navigation. The content management system is fully customisable to allow running multiple instances of the same calendar, with different themes, filters etc.
Aimed at a young and tech-savvy audience, the ICAA calendar tool provided a whole new approach to the seemingly mundane task of presenting a calendar. The Content Management System offered a flexible and customisable interface for presenting events, as well as the option of incorporating various Web 2.0 platforms (such as YouTube and Twitter) that were more engaging for the target audience than just a simple text-based format.
