Wanted has designed and created a dynamic interactive tourist experience in the heart of Australia. The West Macs Discovery Centre was officially opened today by the NT Minister for Parks and Wildlife, Karl Hampton.

Our aim with this multi-layered project has been to attract and entice national and international visitors to the ‘West Macs’ regions by providing rich, engaging interpretive material. Wanted has developed and creatively led both the physical and virtual elements of this iconic tourism project across all digital platforms including:

•  Website (www.nt.gov.au/westmacs)
•  iPhone Application
•  Over 200 podcasts on the Internet
•  A physical interactive space at the Alice Springs Visitors Centre where visitors can view and download the material through large plasmas operated by touch screen kiosks
